Kristin Rivas is the Director of Samuel Lynne Galleries, where she oversees a dynamic roster of contemporary artists and manages gallery operations. With a background in art history and curatorial practice, Kristin brings a deep understanding of the art market and a keen eye for emerging talent. Her leadership is instrumental in shaping the gallery’s innovative exhibitions and fostering strong relationships with collectors and artists alike. Under her direction, Samuel Lynne Galleries continues to be a prominent platform for contemporary art. When Kristin is not working, she is spending time with her family, especially her daughter, who she loves making art with. She serves as an example of dedication and true devotion to our team.
Grace Cooper | Assistant Director
Assistant Director, Grace, is an integral part of our team, leading our external sales and setting the precedent for thoughtfulness and real relationship building in the sales world. Grace uses her extensive background in culture and design to establish partnerships in a way that pushes the entire art community forward. If you follow our social media platforms, you've probably seen her, and we are incredibly proud to have Grace as a face of Samuel Lynne Galleries.
Jayna Long | Art Advisor
With us since January, Jayna is new to the Gallery! Having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design and a strong background in sales, she brings a multitude of strengths to assist the Gallery’s needs. She has a love for art and meeting clients, always greeting them with her bubbly personality. When she is not at the gallery, she can be found with her Doberman, Kobe, and creating her own artworks.
Mary Kumpf | Art Consultant
Mary joined our gallery in May as a fresh face with a rich background in Fine Arts and Business. Her unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm for art and community makes her a valuable addition to our team. Mary is thrilled to collaborate with JD Miller and everyone here to foster a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere for our visitors. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and attending concerts.
Kylie Larrea | Art Consultant
Owen Kinser | Operations Manager
Owen, our Operations Manager, is an essential addition to our team. As a TCU graduate with a Masters in Fine Art, he brings his incredible knowledge and experience to the gallery. Outside of SLG, Owen is an accomplished performing musician, proving the depth of his love for all art forms. Consistently carrying a smile around, Owen is always to be counted on for a helping hand or a unique solution.
Dallas Smith | Operations
Dallas smith shines here at SLG, with a degree in New Media Arts from the University of North Texas, and an extensive history of involvement in the fine arts community in DFW. Dallas Smith is a perfect addition to the team, playing a key role in operations. He excels at maintaining our facilities, and implementing creative solutions to a wide range of logistical challenges. Dallas feels right at home here as a working artist himself with a soul hungry for creative expression. Dallas explores a wide range of medium from digital new media, illustration, and fiber arts, exhibiting his work at galleries such as 500X, The Cedars Union, and the Greater Denton Arts Council.
Bryan Castillo | Creative Director
Our Creative Director, Bryan, is a man of many talents. Graduating from University of North Texas with a degree in Studio Arts, Bryan has taken his extensive knowledge of design programs and contemporary trends to our design mission. Bryan runs all of our social media platforms, and is in charge of creating our graphic designs and print materials. He is truly a creative genius, and we are always looking forward to what he will pitch next! When Bryan isn't collecting content, he is taking good care of his many plants. Like we said - he is a guy with a wide range of talents - and we are very lucky to have him on our team.
